Package Coalition Issues Statement on Q1 2021 USPS Financial Report

USPS package business continues to grow, remains profitable and is critical to supporting the economy and American families through the pandemic

Washington, D.C. - The following is a statement from Package Coalition Chairman, Secretary John McHugh, in response to the today’s Q1 2021 financial report from the United States Postal Service:

“After the most challenging year on record, today’s financial report demonstrates that the United States Postal Service’s package business continues to grow, remains profitable, and is helping support the Postal Service’s nationwide integrated delivery network.  The strong financial results underscore the Postal Service’s role as a critical part of the nation’s economic infrastructure and its value to American families as we move through the pandemic. The Postal Service is the only carrier that accepts all packages and delivers to all Americans.”
